Meet the founder: Bettina
Bettina is a trained medical doctor, who was frustrated by the unnecessary addition of harmful chemicals to skincare products. She decided to combine her love of making things with her scientific knowledge, to create soaps and oils that would benefit her own skin.
And today, she sells soaps and oils using natural, locally sourced ingredients from her Yorkshire-based home.

For those who prefer the traditional wet method with a razor and brush 🪒
Our palm-oil free shaving soap is incredibly easy to use, and provides you with just the right amount of lather for a smooth shave.
To use, soak your shaving brush with water and then swirl vigorously over the surface of the soap, coating the brush’s bristles, before transferring to your face to lather.
You won't need to use plastic razors, or canned shaving cream, which means you'll reduce plastic consumption in the bathroom.
It's also suitable for vegans as the stearic acid used is obtained from rapeseed oil 🌱

This soap contains avocado oil, rosemary essential oil and nettle powder.
Avocado oil is traditionally used to soften and protect the skin and scalp, rosemary essential oil gives it an initial spicy scent, and the combination of the two has been thought to stimulate hair growth.
